Frequently Asked Questions

Does my dog need a joint supplement?

Joint problems are observed in 1 in 5 adult canines, and 80% of dogs over the age of 8 — and can have truly devastating effects on their quality of life. Unfortunately, even the best diet is usually not enough to effectively combat joint wear and tear. So, in my opinion — if you want to help your adult dog to stay active and maintain optimal mobility as they get older — it’s not only beneficial, but virtually essential, for them to take a high-quality joint supplement daily. Of course, if you have any questions about whether a joint supplement is right for your dog, please talk to your veterinarian first.

Is this supplement suitable for all breeds?

Yes! I developed Free & Active to work for all dogs, big and small. You see, while some breeds are naturally more prone to joint problems — no breed is exempt. That’s why I made sure to formulate this supplement for every type of dog. Just stick to the appropriate daily dosage (based on your pup’s weight) for best results.

How does it work?

Dr. Marty’s Free & Active Adult Dog Joint Supplement is made with the highest-grade joint support ingredients available. Each one is extensively studied, and selected for its ability to support optimal canine joint health. When combined, these ingredients nourish your dog’s body with essential compounds — including collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and glucosamine (all of which occur naturally in healthy joints and tissues, but gradually wear down over time). The formula is then enriched with powerful joint-soothing compounds and natural antioxidants — to ensure maximum comfort and relief.

*Individual results will vary.

What are the ingredients?

Defatted Beef Liver, Glucosamine sulfate, Water Soluble Egg Membrane, Boswellia Serrata extract, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Stearic Acid, Povidone, Silica and Chromium complex with Phyllanthus emblica fruit and purified shilajit.

Will this supplement help if my dog is already experiencing joint problems?

Free & Active is designed to support joint health at every stage, so, in my opinion, it is an excellent product to give to dogs who are currently showing issues of joint decline.

What if it doesn’t work for my dog? Is there a guarantee?

Absolutely. As a veterinarian, I take canine joint health very seriously. So if you don’t see a noticeable improvement in your dog’s mobility, energy, or even their mood, please let me know. You can send back the unused portion, any time within 90 days, and I’ll return the full purchase price — guaranteed.

  1. 5 out of 5 Excellent results with Free and Active !

    Craig T

My dogs , a Shiba Inu and a Shiba mix will be 13 years old this summer. About a year and a half ago they were both slowing down. One was having trouble with the stairs and all the things that come with getting old.
I started them on Pro Power + and after a couple weeks there was an incredible transformation. They were back , behaving like young dogs again , literally bouncing off the walls. They were and still are happy dogs , always smiling.
Even with the results with Pro Power + , one of my guys was starting to have trouble again , it’s going to happen , they are old dogs.
I saw info on Free and Active on an e-mail from Dr. Marty and decided to try it. It is specific to the issues he is having.
Once again , great results with Dr. Marty. Free and Active has done a great job. It allows him to get through day with much greater ease and greater mobility. I can tell he feels better.
In summation , We all want more time with our pets. I have witnessed Dr. Marty’s products give dogs more time with us , and in a state of health and vibrancy that is wonderful to watch.
Dr. Marty’s products WILL help your pets. Get them, now.

3-1/2 year old 105lbs Saint Bernard with a severe limp. My vet telling me her hips are terrible, diagnosis hip dysplasia. Numerous questions about her well being from those who saw on us onwalks. 6 weeks of rest plus four Free and Active daily, her limp appears to be less prominent, undetectable most days. She walks, plays and runs( a good amount for a Saint!). Very happy with our choice of supplements!

  3. 5 out of 5 Must Try Miracle

    Lanetta Cherise Taylor

I have a 16-year-old Shih Tzu who was showing signs of her back legs going out on her. I started her on the fit and active supplement as well as Dr. Marty’s dog food. Within two weeks my dog was back to walking normal. I could tell her legs felt better because She beats me up a flight of stairs each night at 16 yrs old!! My dog is more playful and energetic since giving her Dr. Marty’s products. I highly recommend his products for dogs, particularly anyone with elderly dogs.

  6. 5 out of 5 14 year old pomeranian

    Renee Thacker

My pomeranian is 14 years old. She had a spinal cord shock injury from a fall out of a stationary truck.she has always favored one weaker side. With age it has gotten worse. Since being on your joint supplement, she seems like a different dog.her back right leg always gets shake, and that has almost ceased.so very thankful that we’ve discovered your products. She’s always been an active dog, but really seems spunkier, and extra energetic. Thank you Dr.Marty ❤

  11. 5 out of 5 Review fo Free & Active

    Ruth in Texas

My dog, an Australian Terrier, 7 yrs old on November 7, 2020!, had ACLSurgery on his left knee, Oct 2018, and recouped ok, but seemed to not be doing good and still limped sometime. In a bit of desperation I ordered drmarty Nature’s Blend, Free & Active and Pro Power. It only took about 4-6 weeks of regular feedings and he was acting like a totally different dog – no limping, running & playing like a puppy again. I was thrilled!!! He is still on the same regimen and doing really good!!! Thanks, Dr Marty!!!

My 14-year old Schnoodle seems to have more energy and “get-up and go” than he did before starting on this product. Spencer just seems a little younger and more active – I love to see him run with the other babies…. it just makes me happy.
